“Imperatrix the Great” is fully handmade by the Artist.

The manually formed aluminum shell encloses a lightweight, stable supporting core. The structured aluminum shell was coated with iron pigments and encouraged to rust. The further oxidation of the iron particles was stopped by multiple sealing. The base is made of untreated aluminum and is filled with concrete blocks. The inside of the top is untreated. The patina of the sculpture has been partially sanded off so that the bare aluminum shines through again. The natural oxidation layer ensures that the aluminum retains its shine.

“Imperatrix the Great” can withstand direct sunlight, which makes the blank aluminum areas shine even more clearly. You can place the object indoor and outdoor if it is a rain-protected area. high humidity does not matter. The artwork weights 30 kg and is signed with the initials cR. Due to the low centre of gravity, the sculpture has a secure stand.
